Support Worker

This is a unique opportunity to assume a key role within a new high support recovery service. Your responsibilities will be to independently plan, develop and implement support and care plans in a therapeutic community.
You are expected to have at least two year’s experience of working with people with mental health issues in a therapeutic community or mental health setting, or closely related field; and to be interested in combining skilled risk management with working in an enabling way with this client group.

You will become a member of a team with an emphasis on supporting effective team and user led working and inter-agency co-operation. The establishment of a sound and evidence-based service framework will aim to guide and equip staff in sustaining the therapeutic relationship, and will provide the consistency and constancy needed by individuals with mental health issues.

We are keen to support and utilise your existing experience and expertise with the aim of broadening and deepening the capabilities of the team. We are committed to a robust training and professional development programme, and to the staff support and supervision that is so essential in this work.
